CCSO Arrest Man Operating Moped Illegally

On November 27th, 2021 a CCSO Deputy spotted Dustin Ryan Williams operating his moped on Turkey Creek Rd. When he attempted to stop the suspect, the suspect lead the Deputy on a low-speed pursuit that ended on East Newnan Road and resulted in a short foot chases into the woods.

Mr. Williams, who had been arrested earlier in the year for operating a low-power vehicle on a public roadway and driving on a suspended license was booked on the following charges following the pursuit.

3) Wrong Way On One Way Street (M)
4) Wrong Side Of Roadway (M)
5) Reckless Driving (M)
6) Fleeing/attempting To Elude Police Officer (M)
7) Speeding (M)
8) Suspended / Revoked License (M)

Suspect Pleads NOLO on Charges, Gets 90 Days / 12 Months Probation

State Court records show that on 12/2/21, Mr. Williams pleaded NOLO ( Guilty ) and received the following:

DISPOSITION JAIL- GUILTY PLEA, $790 FINE, 90 DAYS JAIL; CONCUR[EN]T W./ PROBATION REVOCATION, 12 MO PROB, TRAFFIC SCHOOL, TVIP, STATES REC, ACK OF RIGHTS, WAIVER
