\\ Incident Update - Wendy's Team Building Event - Theft
Meet Johnathon Terrell Glass, 33, of Newnan and his fellow Wendy's team mate Joshua Raquez Hayes, 18, also of Newnan.
Last Saturday evening they apparently decided to leave their shift at Wendy's at Thomas Crossroads and embark on what one can only assume was some sort of team building event given they did the rest of this wearing at least some of their Wendy's uniform.
After walking over to the McDonald's / Kroger parking lot, they entered the vehicle of what was is believed to be a McDonald's employee from initial witness descriptions at the scene. The victim spotted them and a fight ensued before the square patty duo ran from the scene. Giving up on the team element, one ran into Kroger, while the other ran back to Wendy's via the church on the corner where he dropped the victims backpack in an attempt to purge himself of the evidence of is misdeeds.
Coweta County Sheriff's Office (Georgia) units quickly arrived on scene, found and arrested the suspect that ran into the store before making the Wendy's connection and locating the other at the fast food restaurant.
Both were booked into the Coweta County Jail on Sept 12th and charged with the following count.
- ENTERING AUTOMOBILE OR OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE WITH INTENT TO A CRIME (F)
Both were released on bond the following day.

** I failed to state in the original post that these individuals were booked on Sept 12th - there's since been at least one additional arrest from the investigation off Cliff Cir last night, I'm waiting to received the booking information and will update with that as soon as I can. **
Booking records confirm that two individuals were arrested and booked overnight in connection with Saturday's shooting.
Fermandez Ardell Jones, 26, of Newnan and Demetrius Daunte Freeman, 25, of Newnan were both booked on the following charge.
- Aggravated Assault (F)
Both are believed to still be in custody at the jail.
I'm working on getting more details regarding the shooting incident, and what I believe will be further arrests as the investigation continues.
Again, just a reminder that booking charges are a starting point, with the possibility of additional, or even different charges being added as the investigation uncovers more information and the DA gets involved.

\\ Incident Update - Swint Pl / Wilcoxon St Shooting
I've been able to confirm the following through various official sources overnight.
This incident is part of the ongoing investigation into the Swint Pl / Wilcoxon St shooting that occured Saturday afternoon.
Yesterday at approximately 545 PM, multiple Newnan Police Department units descended on a residence off Cliff Circle. After a short but intense period officers were able to secure the scene and everything in it.
At my count, officers detained 3 individuals and transported them to the PD for questioning, they also towed two vehicles from the scene for forensic investigation.
Investigators worked late into the night serving a search warrant on the residence at which the individuals were located, finally breaking down the crime scene just before 11 PM last night.
The status of the individuals that were taken in for questioning, if they were eventually booked, I haven't been able to confirm yet but am hoping to do so once everyone opens.
