Suspect arrested for Thompson St shooting, Murder
Subject arrested for Murder off Thompson St
The Newnan Police Department has arrested an individual in relation to the shooting of multiple people, and a dog, at a residence off Thompson St on Friday Afternoon.
The shooting resulted in the death of Willie Charles Hunter, 60, of Newnan.
Fredrick Lee Tucker, 52, of Newnan was arrested and booked on the following charges.

Shortly after E911 received the call in regards to the shooting, they received a call purported to be from Tucker stating he wanted to turn himself in for Murder. NPD officers responded and arrested Tucker without incident.
Tucker’s current booking photo won’t be available until next week, however we do have his booking photo from a Sept. 12th, 2022 booking for Terroristic Threats.
