11 Arrests in Gambling Bust off John Boy Trail

11 arrested in Gambling sting

Booking records show that 11 suspects were arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail after a bust Friday, Feb 2nd, 2024 at a residence off John Boy Trail in northern Coweta.

9 of the suspects were all booked on the same charge, Gambling, a Misdemeanor.

On suspect, John Joseph Hanna was also booked for a felony charge of VGCSA SCH 1/2 NARCOTIC POSSESSION.

Anthony Van Johnson, 44, was also charged with a felony count of COMMERICAL GAMBLING, and a misdemeanor count of KEEPING A GAMBLING PLACE. Tax Accessor Records show that Johnson has been the owner of 55 John Boy Trail since 2020.
