The May 2nd indictment of suspects in the murder of Dustin Parrott in Newnan lead to the swearing of two arrest warrants for outstanding suspects.

Mitchell Blane Allport, 19, and Cameron Ethan Rodgers, 14, were the two remaining suspects charged in the Murder that were not in custody.

We can confirm that Mitchell Blane Allport is currently in custody and has been booked into the Coweta County Jail and is being held without bond.

We believe, given radio traffic, that Cameron Ethan Rodgers has been transported by members of the Newnan Police Department to the Regional Youth Detention Center in Clayton County where he will be held without bond due to his age.

According to court and warrant documents, its believed that the two, in concert with Parrott, were on the selling half of the marijuana deal that lead to the murder.

While it’s not known exactly, Allport and Rodgers are believed to be related – possibly cousins and according to court documents resided at the same residence.
