Dodge Charger wrecks in downtown Fairburn, suspects run on foot
Summary
After failing to stop for a CCSO Deputy around 3:30 PM on January 2nd on Collinsworth road, 2 suspects in a Dodge Charger sped down Highway 29 North reaching speeds of 130mph.
Their luck finally ran out as they reached downtown Fairburn near the Intersection with Smith Street as they wrecked their charger into the curb. While one suspect was immediately detained, another tried his luck on foot.
This bought him another 10 minutes and a good amount of energy as CCSO deputies, assisted by Fairburn PD officers were able to locate the suspect with the help of a K9 team. Drugs and guns were found during the investigation.
