Just after 11 PM, February 10th, E911 received a call from the alarm company contracted by Newnan Peachtree Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located at 53 Hollz Parkway stating they were watching 3 individuals on the lot attempting to enter vehicles on the lot.

While the dealership is located in the County, units from the CCSO, NPD and even GSP responded to the location to set up a perimeter. One of the first units that arrived on scene located a vehicle parked on Garden Walk, the entrance to Wisteria Gardens, a senior living facility. The vehicle was parked near the tree line.

The vehicle, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra 4S, was quickly identified as stolen by dispatch. As more units arrived on scene, a perimeter was set up encircling the dealership.

With the dealership contained, and  working with the alarm company who had a live video feed, officers were able to verify the three suspects were located near the dumpster in the center of the dealership on the wood line. Units began to work their way to that location.

NPD units working the wood line were able to spot two of the subjects as they ran through the wood line and into the power line to the east of the dealership. After a quick foot pursuit and a tasing, they were able to place two of the suspects in custody. They quickly warned other units that they located loaded firearms on the suspects they had in custody. Minutes later, CCSO units were able to apprehend the third suspect, who was also armed.

According to evidence logs, the 3 were found in possession of 3 guns, one of which was confirmed stolen, ammo, drugs, and various burglary tools. They were also in possession of the stolen vehicle.

Do to the quick response of law enforcement, the suspects were only able to enter 2 vehicles on the lot, a 2020 Dodge Charger and a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
