Man arrested for stabbing another man at Red Roof Inn
The victim was stabbed in the face while in the parking lot
Just before 5 PM on October 19th, 2023, E911 received a call from Red Roof Inn located at 590 Bullsboro Dr stating a male had stabbed another male in the face.
Units with both the CCSO and NPD were dispatched and arrived at the scene shortly after where they located a suspect and placed him into custody while EMS stabilized and transported the patient to an Atlanta area hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
George Garett Olmsted, 43, of Newnan was arrested and booked into the Coweta County Jail on the following charge(s):
Aggravated Assault, a Felony
He was denied bond by Magistrate Judge Stokely and will be held until a preliminary hearing on the charges.
