Motorcycle refused to stop when CCSO deputy attemtped a traffic stop
Just before 1:30 PM, February 7th, a deputy with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office attempted to preform a traffic stop on a motorcycle heading north on Interstate 85.
The motorcycle refused to stop for the officer continuing north at speeds reaching over 130 MPH at times. A unit from the Georgia State Patrol joined the pursuit shortly after it started and took primary in the pursuit.
The pursuit ended when the motorcycle lost control on the curve leading from Interstate 85 to Interstate 285.

The condition of the rider, as well as their identity are not yet available. We will update as soon as it is.
