It was an unlucky week for a local man and his female passenger.

On January 30th, around 2 AM, the pair were stopped while traveling down the interstate near Mile Marker 50 on Interstate 85 South. The Deputy that stopped them ran the driver, Steven Andrew Quintana’s license and it came back suspended / revoked, as well as having a valid warrant. He was placed under arrest without incident.

The female, Kimberly Anne Morell, who is licensed out of Puerto Rico, where she apparently resides, was allowed to take the vehicle home after her information came back valid.

Jail record show that Quintana was booked on a charge of Suspended / Revoked License, a misdemeanor. Records also indicate that he was released that afternoon.

On February 2nd, the pair would again be stopped, this time off Olympia Dr around Noon. This stop would result in both Quintana and Morell being arrested. They were both booked into the Coweta County Jail on a single count of VGCSA Marijuana MFG/DIST/POSS w intent to distribute, a Felony.

They were both released after posting bail later that afternoon..
