Georgia State Patrol provides update on Ishman Ballard Rd accident
5 victims transported, 4 by Life Flight
The Georgia State Patrol has released the following information regarding a head on collision that occurred June 1st, 2023 on Ishman Ballard Rd.
” On Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 4:10 pm, Troopers from Post 24 Newnan responded to a two-vehicle crash on Ishman Ballard Road at Deering Circle, in Coweta County. A white Nissan Versa was traveling south on Ishman Ballard Road and a Ford Truck was traveling north. The driver of the Ford Truck crossed the centerline and struck the Nissan Versa head on.
The driver of the Nissan Versa and the driver of the Ford Truck were both transported to Grady due to their injuries. There were three juvenile passengers transported to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for treatment.
The Georgia State Patrol Troop D Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash. “
