Victim of 4 Wheeler Accident Passes Away
Mr. Terry J. Barnett, 61, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
With the permission of his family, I’d like to announce the sad news that Mr. Terry J. Barnett, 61, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Barnett was riding his 4 wheeler in the 100 block of Happy Valley Circle on the afternoon of January 23rd when he had an accident that resulted in serious injuries. Many passerby’s stayed with Mr. Barnett until units from the CCSO and CCFR were able to make it to the scene.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

“Terry was born January 24, 1962, in Atlanta, GA, to the late William Fred Barnett and the late Lillie Mae Crankshaw Barnett. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jerry William; and his beloved brother, Dennis Barnett. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Whitesburg, GA, and never met a stranger.
Terry was a Godly man, an avid hunter and fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. He enjoyed boating, playing pool, and riding his ATV. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
In lieu of flowers, a close friend of Gena-V has established a gofundme account in memory of Terry.”
The Family has also placed a wreath at the location of the accident and welcomes anyone who would like to place objects around it in memory of Mr. Barnett.
