Teenage victim of Canongate Rd. accident passes away
16 year old Javier Dodson was student at Northgate Highschool and a member of the Football team
It’s with a heavy heart that we update you on the passing of Javier Dodson, 16, the victim of a single car accident that occurred the night of February 11th.
Javier was a much beloved student at Northgate Highschool and a member of the schools football team. His passing will have a lasting effect on those that new and loved him.
Javier was travelling home along Canongate Rd when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and came to rest against a tree.
He was transported to an Atlanta area children’s Trauma Center where he was treated by medical staff. Sadly Javier passed away on Thursday as a result of his injuries.
His mother, Brandy, works in the medical field at a CHOA in Atlanta. Friends of the family have started a gofundme to help her during this tragic time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his mother, family and friends. May you find peace in the memories you will forever cherish.
